Working on Social Housing Carbon Reduction programmes is our dedicated Social Housing Team, made up of experienced staff who own and project manage the installation of gas to residents such as yours from concept right through to completion.

We are already working in partnership with a significant number of housing associations, local authorities, arms length management organisations (ALMOs) and registered landlords (RLs) throughout the UK.

Our Expertise

• Bringing gas to non-gas areas by installing new mains and services reducing Fuel Poverty and providing sustainable energy
• Installing gas to single properties in areas where the gas mains are already installed effecting Fuel Switch Funding

The Service
We manage all projects from feasibility through to design, installation and adoption of the infrastructure by network owners. Suitable for Housing Stock that are electric only properties, such as high rise apartments, maisonettes, 2 / 3 storey flats and elderly bungalows.

We work with you to ensure that the property lists for gas supplies are scheduled to meet the needs of your central heating installation programme. We project manage both social housing tenants and private resident installations. By understanding our chain of custody we use ‘no dig’ technology wherever practicable to minimise the impact on the environment and disruption to residents. We can help arrange fuel switching allowances for switching to gas through CERT in partnership with one of the eight OFGEM approved energy suppliers.

We provide a contribution to reduce the cost of installing infrastructure with assistance from one of our adopting network owners who will operate and maintain the life time management of the gas system. We have arrangements with Energy Suppliers to install residential meters in conjunction with the installation of supplies, this removes cost from your business due to poor planning incurring abortive visits. We provide full Project Management including able to pay and right-to-buy customers as well as tenants.
